The Historical Society is a nine acre site with indoor exhibits on Butler County’s farming, ranching and oil industries. Outdoor exhibits includes  over 25 pieces of oilfield equipment dating from 1930’s – 1950’s. Five pieces are in working condition.

Seven historic structures are on display: five in the K.T. Wiedermann Living History Area depict a section of a 1930’s oil town street. Others include an 1860’s log cabin and a 1930’s oilfield lease house.
