Permanent exhibit: the world’s largest collection of Dedham and Chelsea Pottery; small but extremely important collection of 16th, 17th and 18th century furniture, including the earliest dated American made Metcalf Great Chair, a number of one-of-a-kind clocks by Willard, and others; paintings by world renowned artists, including Stuart, Constable, Fisher, the Hales, Hewins, Hitchings, Mills and others, and the work of Dedham silversmith Katharine Pratt. Holdings also include a 20,000 volume historical and genealogical library.
