Graeme Park, administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission is a National Historic Landmark. The Keith House at Graeme Park was built for Provincial Governor Sir William Keith in 1722. Interior elements of the Keith House include original paints and paneling that date from the mid 18th-century “modern Georgian” renovations of Dr. Thomas Graeme, Keith’s son-in-law. The property was the location of an encampment by General Anthony Wayne’s troops during the American Revolution, and was home to Elizabeth Graeme Ferguson, a noted 18th century literary figure.
