The Gunn Historical Museum is a local community history museum for the Town of Washington, Connecticut, located in Litchfield County in northwest Connecticut. Situated in a c. 1780 house, this small museum has two – three exhibits that change annually. Collections include furniture, decorative arts, tools, implements, costumes and textiles, photographs and local history manuscript and archive materials. Free admission, though $5 donation suggested. It is adjacent to the community library that has a ceiling mural and the Connecticut Reference Room.
