Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society (LFLBHS) was formed in 1972. In the fall of 1998, the Historical Society moved to its new home in a former Masonic Lodge which had been the carriage house of the Evergreens estate.

The Collection includes general history artifacts including document, plat maps, photographs, textiles, and artifacts relating to the history of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff from the time of settlement of the area to the present day. The Historical Society offers a number of lectures, living history programs, tours, school programs and family events in addition to hosting exhibitions and assisting researchers.
