Northeastern Nevada history exhibits include ranching, mining, firearms, the California Trail, railroads, and Paiute and Shoshone Indians. The Wanamaker Wing showcases 200 full-size, mounted animals from around the world, in their natural environment. An art gallery features portfolios by Ansel Adams and Edward Weston, permanent art displays, western art and rotating installations. The gift shop features Nevada and western books and crafts by local artisans. Extensive research and photo archives are available to the public.
