The Oberlin Heritage Center includes three historic buildings that tell the unique, nationally significant story of the community and college in Oberlin from their beginning in 1833 until the 1930s.

Learn about abolition and the underground railroad, aluminum history, women’s history, student life, and more in two beautifully preserved Victorian-era houses and a pioneer-era one-room school.

Due to the historic nature of our buildings, the one-hour-and-fifteen-minute tour involves walking and climbing stairs.
