The Oldham County History Center has two buildings on the site:

The J.C. Barnett Library and Archives, this building houses a collection of local history materials for genealogical and historical research.

The Peyton Samuel Head Family Museum, this museum contains a permanent exhibition of local history, featuring a fiberoptic map and a working model of an interurban train. Some exhibits are enhanced by sound sticks. In addition, there are two changing exhibit galleries, an outdoor exhibit featuring models related to the impact of transportation on the development of the county, as well as an outdoor garden featuring native Kentucky plants.
