The history and growth of Little League Baseball and Softball around the world are documented in the museum’s collection. The museum includes historical as well as hands-on activities – fun for the young and the young at heart. In addition to artifacts, the museum has a batting and pitching experience and a running track. The museum houses the Hall of Excellence, a section dedicated to former Little Leaguers who have had successful careers in many fields, including George W. Bush, the first Little League graduate elected president of the United States. It also is home to the Gallery of Achievement which honors volunteers, parents and former Little Leaguers. The building is situated in front of the Lamade Stadium where the annual Little League Baseball World Series is played in August.
