Come experience the unique heritage of Rhode Island at the South County Museum, a private, non-profit history museum located on the former Canonchet Estate of Gov. William Sprague, Civil War Governor of Rhode Island.

The museum consists of six exhibit buildings including the Main Exhibit Hall, Printing, Carpentry, Blacksmithing, Early Transportation, and a One-Room school, plus an outdoor Living History Farm Exhibit.

Programs include hands-on demonstrations, lectures, school tours, and Junior Historians.
