The Railroad & Heritage Museum is housed in a restored GC & SF Railroad Depot, and shares the building with Amtrak. The exhibits display the westward expansion of Texas by railroad in the 19th and 20th centuries, with special exhibits on railroad equipment, telegraph operation, railroad operations and dispatching, among others. Full-sized rail equipment on display outside. Located on the BNSF Railroad Main Line, with viewing alcoves for train watching. Handicap accessible.
