The museum is housed in the 1865 Quaker Hicksile Church in Richmond, IN. Its spacious grounds include numerous outbuildings, among them an 1812 log cabin schoolhouse, a 2 story log cabin, a bakery, blacksmith shop and livery barn. Our collection includes glassware, china, vintage toys, dolls, horsedrawn carriages and an excellent early automobile collection. An excellent local history library is also onsite. Two blocks away, the Andrew Finley Scott house is available for tours. Built in 1860, it is an Italianate two sotry home restored to ca. 1885.
