The Homestead Museum is dedicated to researching, collecting, preserving, and interpreting the diverse history of southern California and the Workman and Temple families from 1830 to 1930. This six-acre site features the Workman House, a Victorian-era home constructed around an 1840s adoe; LaCasa Nueva, a 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival mansion noted for its architectural crafts; and El Campo Santo, one of the oldest private cemeteries in southern California.
